Yu-Pei Sung obtained her BSc and MSc degrees in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam. Her thesis on COVID-19 transmission and the effects of combinations of vaccination and quarantine policies sparked her interest in infectious disease modeling and public health research. She is currently participating in the SHIELD project, where the main objectives of her involvement are to perform impact assessments of integrated vaccination and screening policies for HPV in the general population and in vulnerable groups, and to contribute to setting an EU goal for HPV vaccination coverage of boys.
